Nike HOME Series.
Finding Our Place Through Sport.

HOME is a new Nike docuseries exploring the ways displaced athletes* around the world are finding their place through sport. As part of the Future Movement platform, Nike wanted to create an editorial series to tell the story of extraordinary athletes from all over the world, who found refuge in sport.

“Anyone can become a refugee, it’s not something that you choose.”
— Alphonso Davies

In episode 02 we meet the Bayern Munich football star Alphonso Davies. Discover how sport has played a key role in helping him find his place. From his first team in Edmonton, Canada to the world stage, Alphonso is redefining labels and stigmas given to displaced communities and inspiring the next generation to chase their extraordinary futures.

In episode 01, we meet Manu, a first-generation immigrant from Romania, and Rasha Ahmed, a second-generation immigrant from Palestine. Both are part of bunktkicktgut, a community football league in Berlin that helps kids find their place through sport & create extraordinary futures.

“If you were never given anything in life and know how that feels, then it’s an opportunity to give to others what you never had.” – Manu.
